Legend of the Seeker

Just watched the pilot episode to this new series last night with James. The opening sequence had us fixated in seconds, and I really want to watch the next episode this evening! If you haven't heard of Legend of the Seeker yet, it's a new TV series set in some sort of medieval fantasy land. I noticed a Tolkien surname in the credits and can definetly see the resemblance to LOTR-style tales.
The leading chap is fit as a fiddle... :) ... and although he proceeds to get nearly everyone close to him killed or seriously injured within the first hour or so, I really like him! Kahlan, the Confessor chick is awesome as well, I love her possession ability. There are some pretty funny parts here and there, some obvious like the naked chicken wizard, and some more subtle, references to RPGs and such like. Also, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the CGI is pretty good too.






Definetly worth a watch if you're into fantasy, lore, and RPGs.
