Facial Biometrics Hacked

Brilliant article from DailyTech talking about how hackers have shown that biometric software on laptop PCs is very easily "hackable".

This was my favourite line :

"The simplest way was to simply use a picture of the person to spoof the webcam into thinking it was the user. Given the ready availability of images on sites like MySpace and Facebook, this seems to be an easy route to access."

Brilliant :D You don't even need any skill to do that. Surely these companies must have realised this could happen? But no, they promote their new security as "unhackable". Which obviously just prompts the best minds to prove them wrong :)
